DESIGN CHALLENGE: Travel E-Blasts

I recently took some time to challenge myself on multiple skills. The prompt was to design an email with the purpose of enticing the recipient to book with a trip with a travel agency. Some of the skills that were practiced are:

February: Paris, France

Subject Line: “Bonjour Adrian! Parisian Romance for You ❤️🥖 ”

For this email I decided to say “hi” in French because even if you don’t speak French, you know how to say “Hi.” It also helps the recipient feel excited!

March: Tokyo, Japan

Subject Line: “Adrian, Tokyo blooms await! Springtime in Japan 🌸 🍙”

It was important for me to add reviews of past customers with the company, and their images + travel date adds credibility to the smooth experience the travel agency provides.

April: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Subject Line: “Hoi Adrian! Amsterdam Canals calling in April 🌹🚣”

The headlines “Welcome to …” all have a font that corresponds with the theme of country. For Bali and Amsterdam I felt like a serif font works with both of them. “Paris” had a brush font. “Tokyo” fits with a sans-serif font.
